Unity/C# Senior Game Developer

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic C#/Unity Developer to join our team: as a candidate, you have a strong understanding of programming fundamentals, building a solid codebase for optimize games and finding efficient and elegant solutions to technical challenges. You would also be comfortable in using the Unity editor and porting projects under basic supervision, from optimizing and bug-fixing stage to a platform submission. Ideally, you’d possess a strong personal initiative and a constant desire for self-improvement and curiosity towards learning new technologies in our field.

 

You have:
 

  • Practical work experience in Unity & C# development, and delivering production projects to completion

  • Unity Certification

  • Experience in forming architecture of the big projects 

  • Understanding physX work

  • Experience with optimisation open world games

  • Excellent communication skills. Technical English.

 
3D Environment Artist

We are looking for a great Artist for a new open world game to join us in Riga. We’ll be happy to see in our team a person with excellent artistic taste, who has practical experience and really ambitious to improve professional skills.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Create worlds and stage scenery to set the tone and vision.

  • Constructs 3d environments to include modeling, mapping, materials, lighting, VFX, atmospherics, collision, and gameplay related setups.

  • Develop, experiment, and advance the environments by innovating new techniques.

  • Manage all the assets and data associated with the environments.

  • Understand the art pipeline and integrates assets into the game.

  • Understand the hardware limitations and common techniques.

  • Work directly with other artists, designers, and engineers to complete environments.

 

Experience/Skills:

 

  • 2+ years of industry experience working on different platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Substance, Maya, and/or other 3D software 

  • Strong sense for architecture and natural scenery including form, color, and composition.

  • Ability to manage and maintain entire world assets.

  • Architectural background and/or related field a big plus!

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively

  • Working knowledge of Houdini as a big plus
     

Lead Porting Developer

Essential skills for the job:

  • Practical work experience in Unity & C# development, and delivering production projects to completion

  • Comfortable about general usage of the Unity Editor, from shaders & materials to scripting

  • Being able to write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

  • Experience with cross-platform development (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch)

  • Familiar with version control software

  • Experience with device optimization and usage of profilers.

  • Excellent communication skills. Technical English.


Great to have:

 

  • Developing for Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch

  • Practical work experience in C++ development

  • Experienced writing Unity custom editor tools

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Shaders development / Graphic pipeline experience

  • Interest in video games - just a desire to keep up with the latest standards that define our job!

  • Experience as a Team Lead (3 members and more)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in an agile-based porting development life cycle primarily focused on bug-fixing and improving the performance on different platforms

  • Work closely with the other developers in determining and providing solutions to project requirements

  • Propose and provide feedback from experience/knowledge improving players experience on different consoles

  • Refactoring of the codebase as required in order to improve project maintainability and supportability
