Game Designer

The tinyBuild is an indie game developer and publisher has been partnering up with dozens of indies around the world bringing you games like Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, Streets of Rogue, Secret Neighbor, SpeedRunners, Punch Club, Party Hard and many more. 

We’re looking for a remote talented Game Designer to join our expanding team delivering ground-breaking games. The successful applicant will join a team of talented and passionate designers, programmers and producers building inspiring and captivating titles in a friendly working environment.

Must have skills

  • Strong understanding of how AI-based games works 

  • Experience working with UE4 at least 2 years  (placing assets, implementing quest logic, building levels, etc)

  • Experience creating & balancing content, preferably within an AI-based games environment

  • Understanding of basics of 3D modeling

  • You have a good sense of gameplay experience and special attention to details

  • Fluent English.

Nice to have skills

  • Experience using AI and common machine learning techniques for game design solutions

  • Programming skill

Responsibilities

  • Working effectively in a small team, and communicating with production staff, artists and developers.

  • You will be responsible for a number of major features, levels or areas of a game, driving end-to-end implementation across the team, as well as contributing to the definition of the expected quality of the game.

  • Pitch and implement new game ideas and features to the teams

  • Time management, assisting in the planning of projects through task estimation.

Unreal Engine 4 Senior Developer

The tinyBuild is looking for a talented UE4 Senior Developer to join our expanding team delivering ground-breaking games. The successful applicant will join a team of talented and passionate designers, programmers and producers building inspiring and captivating titles in a friendly working environment.


 

Must have skills

  • Good programming skills in C++;

  • Development experience within the Unreal Engine 4, 3+ years.

  • Understanding of OOP, design patterns and game architecture.

  • The ability to write clear, maintainable, modular and portable code.

  • The ability to adapt to challenges through self-driven education and experimentation.

  • Problem-solving mindset.

  • Fluent English.

 

Nice to have skills

  • Experience using common machine learning techniques

  • Knowledge of Deep Neural Networks and frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch

  • Experience of managing projects, ability to plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines

QA Lead

tinyBuild is looking for an experienced QA Lead Manager who would help us coordinate testing processes. We’re looking for someone who enjoys and takes pride in doing their job as best as possible; a person who would not only be responsible for doing their job, but also the success of their team and for what’s best for the game.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing

  • 1+ years of experience in leading a QA team of 5-10+ members

  • Excellent oral and written English

  • Experience in testing on different platforms (PC, consoles, mobile games)

  • Deep knowledge of testing processes and methodologies

  • Experience in writing and supporting test plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct continuous and efficient quality testing, identify technical, visual and gameplay issues

  • Lead and oversee the QA engineers team

  • Write and support test plans and other documentation

  • Conduct manual testing
